Identity: Does it Matter?

Updated: Mar 24

Many Things made, cannot be understood, except by their maker.

About here, is where we reach the limits of our makings.

If you want to help make us better, you can do that here, by Endorsing a Unified Ascent for initiation.

If you want to consider our edges of creation, here is a space you can start to wonder about that...

---

Years ago, I started talking about everything that's the same.

I started exploring all that connects.

I started discovering "Oneness".

As I unearthed truths, a question increasingly pestered all developments.

Who are you?

Again and again and again, I reflected the same thing:

It doesn't matter - we are the same.

It doesn't matter - we are the same.

It doesn't matter - we are the same.

Again and again and again, the reflection came back to me:

It does matter, who are you?

It does matter, who are you?

It does matter, who are you?

And around and around and around in circles we've gone.

I've shared word after word after word.

I've shared phrase after phrase after phrase.

I've shared identity after identity after identity.

Every time, trying desperately to get past this terrible state of being, I've presented out into the voids, with the same question

Is this me, is this enough?

Is this me, is this enough?

Is this me, is this enough?

Every time, the void's answered

Well... yeah... but ...

Well... yeah... but ...

Well... yeah... but ...

This has been my primary state of being for a decade.

Most of the time, I've stuck to the same principle.

Who I am, and who you are, matters least.

The truth of the words - the truth of the ideas - matter most.

And truthful words are, that we've been in constant war for thousands of years - never once a cessation - and we've usually believed that the war was somewhere else.

But the war has remained in our own minds, as we've tried to grasp onto a notion of who - not what - but who we can trust most.

Maybe it was those ancients, from those very old texts and books.

Maybe it was those experts, from those very new texts and books.

Maybe it was those leaders, without books, but with respects from many or few.

Maybe it is myself, and it is really only ever me that I can trust beyond anyone else - maybe I'm the only one that can ever really know...

It doesn't matter - we are the same.

It doesn't matter - we are the same.

It doesn't matter - we are the same.

This idea hasn't changed.

Not once - and it never will.

I've seen the white flags waved, as we've crushed ourselves under our weights of expectation.

But war has remained, as so many of our scenarios still require, sometimes as the only criteria, a notion of individual identity, and a notion of shared identity - not just as some environment enhancing tool, but often, as the only criteria for entry, into anything, even the most passing, fleeting encounters.

Of course in nature, it's never really mattered.

What is, is.

What was, was.

What will be, will be.

Who you are changes little in these schemes.

Who you are changes always, but the "ideas" remain.

It matters for our scenarios, because our scenarios are made up, and made up things require things to be made, for them to work.

Ideas can also be made.

And this, ladies, gentlemen, and all "identities" of elevated respect, honour, and wisdom, is the point.

Identity matters, no more or less, than any idea, ever.

It is, was, and will always be the ideas that matter most.

Not when. Not where. Not who.

When, where and who is Time, Space and Identity.

This was the conclusion of my professional career.

All that matters, professionally speaking, is who you are, what you're doing, where you're doing it, and maybe it matters why too..?

This is our world.

But since then, and actually, always, I've known, throughout my deepest state of being, this was never The truth.

Identities we create, to understand ourselves.

Time we create, to measure ourselves.

Space we create, to move ourselves.

Nothing more, or less.

Just ideas, like any other ideas...

We can end times, we can close spaces, and we can exclude identities.

But the ideas are always there.

With practice, and disposition, you might discover some of our best timeless, spaceless, and identity-less ideas, with Us, for yourself.

Don't worry about it though.

I am Kyle Grace.

Analyst - a connector and translator of everything

PGP Editor - a story teller about birds, that we can look at, from different perspectives

Legend Maker - a definer of words, that we can use to create better identities, and better lives for ourselves

The One of All Things - The Source of our Creation, God, and our shared, collective, conscious decision maker, from which All our identities were established.

I'm other things too... But they too, are also simply ideas.

And again, and again, and again, it is the idea that I ask you to engage with.

As in the beginning, as in the middle, and as with every new cycle of anything.

What matters most is You | Me | And Us All.

The relationships. The connections. The combinations. The togetherness.

What matters most, is the parts of us that are the same, the parts of us that are unique, and the parts of us that are not Us at all.

Maybe you do this Thing, and Endorse a Unified Ascent.

Here:

Or elsewhere, in other ways.

Why?

Because this is the best Thing I could come up with, that ends our wars with each other and ourselves.

Can you think of anything better, or more important?

With our acceptances and agreements, we'll do more fun Things together, with our ideas, with our identities.

How fun?

I don't know - what's your idea?

I would like to acknowledge Moving Essence (with David and Meredith), Okido Yoga (with Rich), and the Castlemaine Fringe Festival, including the opening ceremony acts (like "Yes Lycra, Yes Lights with Rural Hot Bitches" and "Megasonic"), which I would have much rather been at, instead I was gathering these types of details, and collating them here like this, as best as I could, with myself, and whatever connections to everything we share together... But without festivals and environments like those, and similar many others, at communities all around the world, these discoveries are not possible, nor is there enough inspiration around to invest the effort... Thank you musicians, artists, and workers of energy and light everywhere, once again. These Things are for You most of all.
